Scheduling

First and foremost, thanks for sticking it out and reading all of my little Zodiac pieces! I just know you scoured each post so you could report to all of your friends about their horoscopes and I appreciate it ;). Now back to the real world of living and learning...

I have been back hard at work applying to festivals and gearing up for the season this summer. It is a tough one, but I am building and think it will be satisfyingly exhausting in the end. I am learning a lot about which shows to apply for, and which shows I shouldn't even bother with due to all the grandfathering, but its funny... whatever pain the rejections caused in the beginning, It starts to become laughable after you get a whole heap of them! I dont know why... do I laugh so as not to cry? I dont think so. It must be something about the wording... "We regret to inform you... it was a tough decision... try again next year..." its the same every time and for some reason it just make me chuckle. I am slowly but surely becoming more comfortable in various groups and communities that live this Road Warrior lifestyle that festivals offer and maybe it is just nice to know- as I sit in my studio day after day- I am not the only one.

Anyway- check out my schedule at the top of the page and keep up as it grows! I think by the end of the season I will get to do about 15-20 shows- more than double last year- so it feels promising for now! I may sing a different song come about August, but... you'll be the first to know.

PS- anyone besides my sister notice my new "website" layout? Its the poor (wo)man's version of professionalism... I was tickled with it, anyway...

Hang in there! I can feel Spring coming!
