Virgo

As we take a closer look at Virgo in my series, this has pretty much solidified the horoscopal (yes, thats my own word) "cusp" idea for me. I discovered in previous posts that to be "on the cusp" of your sign means your birthday falls within two days before or after the dates of your designated Zodiac. All I had to do was read "obsessive, analytical, worry-wart" for me to know my Leo sister definitely embodies more of my "cusp" characters in Virgo!

While Virgo doesn't have any cool animals to go with her, the sign is represented by "The Maiden" which is what I leaned on to make this very floral representation! While the idea of her being compulsive and critical doesn't neccessarily personify what we may otherwise think a "maiden" should act like, she more than makes up for it with her passion, witticism, and sensuality!

A fair maiden deserves a fair forecast, so lets see, shall we, what 2013 holds for her?

Virgo is an Earth Sign, and no other sign is more thorough and meticulous than the sign of the Maiden. At the stroke of midnight on December 31, you'll find that the Sun, Mercury and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn, which strongly indicates that for Earth Signs, the coming of the New Year heralds a new stage in your personal life.

As a Virgo, you're intelligent and conscientious, but sometimes the small details can make you stall. This year is different, however, in that more and more you'll be made to see the bigger picture in all your dealings with family and friends. When things go wrong, you and your loved ones will have a mutual empathy; when things go right, you and the ones nearest to you will share the joy without questioning the small things. Get ready to experience the revelation that your life is much more than the sum of its parts.

Wow! It sounds like, if you're a Virgo, you may be in for a beautiful awakening as you tap into the broader scope of the year and what it holds for you! Good for you in your foreseen attempts to not sweat the petty things and not pet the sweaty things! I'll have to ask my sister, Sara, how this cusp has worked out for her by the end of the year!

Next up, we are in for a balancing act as we look at Libra!
