Getting in the Game

After my downer of a post over a week ago, I've done a bit better at getting back in the game of life and starting to work again. I am excited to be unblogked, if you will, and am making a concerted effort to get my blog and work back on track now! I am excited to be starting another Creative Business Class this week and hopeful you will be able to feel that as my business and I both grow and change for the better. I have a blog design overhaul in the books too, so one of these days... You just wait!

Until then and until I can check in with any lucrative "aha" moments, I have had a few requests on the use of some of my more eccentric Christmas gifts and purchases. By this point my family is pretty accustomed to my seemingly strange taste in stuff that just sits in my house, but I take great pride in the collection I am cultivating, so wanted to share with you just a few of my acquisitions from the holidays. These pieces are well traveled and well loved since it is always a battle to find a place to strap them in my car and convince my husband why I desperately need them... Hope you can appreciate them as much as I do!

My absolute favorite has to be the tin truck my mom  got me! It has become a part of this little table/ nook set up and I am in love...

These are different... hell I dont even know what the metal thing is supposed to be... maybe a lantern of sorts? But I love it and the felt trees and my birds...

Somewhere I developed a fondness for metal planes...? Anyway- the bottom one is a new addition...

Got my creepy little girl around the holidays... pretty sure she is for a garden, but for now she guards my coffee cups!

This pic is a two-fer with my metal giraffe and decorative pillows... great deals on both!

The metal rain boots are from my Mother-in-law who expressed great concerned for anyone who may want them right before I declared my love for them in the store... haha...

Last, just a pic of my best best friend and I enjoying a lazy snow day... ugh. Love that I can stay home and paint with my boy when the weather is nasty!

More to come, so stay tuned and thanks for reading!
