Holiday Pairings

So, as you may know from previous posts, I am big on the holiday season. I do tend to get excited throughout November and December for all the merriness... I told my sister I even quit fast forwarding through all the commercials on my DVR just so I can catch the Christmas ads... (think more Coca Cola, less Kay's...)

Unfortunately, for at least the past 3 or 4 years, holidays seem to have found a happy pairing in our home. Yep, a very merry match indeed... after all, what is family time, rich meals, and gift shopping without vomiting and... I'm going to say it... diarrhea? Ugh! The stomach flu is soooo awful! And I know it is the typical time of year that this stuff goes around, but it just seems in our family it cant happen in the down weeks between Halloween and Thanksgiving, or between Turkey Day and Christmas... each year we seem doomed to all get together as a family and lovingly pass germs back and forth until we all are literally quite sick of each other! So this is my current excuse for having been and absent blogger... we are all over here trying for once to get it together BEFORE company arrives! Oh... it is so gross... Trying to keep tough until next time....
